Tao Wan received his Ph.D. degree in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, UNSW Sydney (Australia), in 2019. He is currently a lecturer at UNSW. His research focus on developing functional materials for applications in flexible electronics, energy storage, and energy conversion devices. He has published over >90 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, such as Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, and Advanced Functional Materials. His work has received more than 5,000 citations, with an H-index of 40 (Google Scholar). Beyond fundamental research, he actively collaborates with industry partners and has secured multiple research grants aimed at addressing material and device limitations for real-world demonstrations and potential commercial applications.
