Jason K. Eshraghian is an Assistant Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at UC Santa Cruz. He earned dual Engineering and Law degrees plus a Ph.D. from The University of Western Australia (2019) and completed a Fulbright Fellowship at the University of Michigan (2019–22). He chairs IEEE’s Neural Systems & Applications Technical Committee, is a founding editor of APL Machine Learning, and has won seven IEEE Best Paper/Live Demo Awards. He received Fulbright, Forrest, and Endeavour Fellowships. His work spans neuromorphic computing and low-power machine learning. He created snnTorch, a Python library for training spiking neural nets, with 250 000+ downloads.
