Dr. Chaohao Chen is an ARC DECRA Fellow and Chancellor Research Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His research primarily focuses on nanophotonics and biophotonics. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from UTS in late 2020, followed by postdoctoral research in the Department of Electronic Materials Engineering at the Australian National University under the mentorship of Professor Lan Fu. His expertise lies in designing novel luminescent nanomaterials and developing advanced optical imaging systems. Dr. Chen has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, featured in premier international journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, and Advanced Science as first or corresponding authors.
