Bowen Zhu received his BS degree from Jilin University (China) in 2010. He obtained his PhD degree in materials science in 2016 from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. After his postdoctoral fellow training at UCLA, he moved to Monash University in 2017, Australia, as a DECRA fellow. He joined School of Engineering, Westlake University, China, as a Principal Investigator (PI) in August 2019. His research is focused on developing high-performance flexible metal oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) to construct active-matrix sensing arrays. Meanwhile, he is also interested in developing artificial spiking sensory systems by integrating Mott memristor neurons into sensors. He has published >90 peer-reviewed papers on leading journals of materials and electronics research with a total citation of >10000.
