Suk-Ho Choi is Cohwang emeritus professor at Kyung Hee Univ. in Korea. He received BS degree from Seoul National Univ. and MS/PhD degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He spent sabbatical years at National Institute of Standards and Technology in USA, Australian National University, and Samsung Electronics, and was appointed as Fellow Professor from 2009. Prof. Choi has worked for two major areas of research, one on the optical and electrical properties of low-dimensional (quantum dots, nanowires, graphene, and 2D materials) and topological materials, and their heterostructures, and the other on the electronic and optical device applications. He has published over 245 papers in the relevant research area. In 2023, he was nominated as Cohwang emeritus (in other words, Distinguished) Professor after his retirement.
