Dr. Shu Gong is currently a professor at school of materials science and engineering, Central South University China. Shu obtained his Ph.D degree from Monash University supervised by Prof. Wenlong Cheng at 2017. After that his worked as a postdoc from 2017-2024 in the same group. His research primarily focuses on flexible wearable mechanical sensors, biosensors, electrochemical devices, and flexible energy supply devices. He is dedicated to developing and integrating ultra-thin, imperceptible flexible electronic biological platforms to achieve seamless integration at the bio-electronic interface. his work aims to enable real-time, continuous, and wireless monitoring of cells, organoids, and human physiological signals. Shu has published over 70 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious journals including Nature Nanotechnology, Chemical Reviews, Chemical Society Reviews, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano etc.His work has been cited more than 9,200 times with an H-index of 40.
