Yi Chen received his B.Eng. from East China University of Science and Technology in 2007, and M.Sci. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010. In 2014, he earned his PhD from Monash Univeristy with Prof. Wenlong Cheng, and then joined Southeast University. He is currently an associate professor at the School of Biological Science and Medical Engineering. He also serves as Assistant to the Dean, Deputy Director of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Deputy Director of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Biomedical Engineering. His research interest lies at the Soft Plasmonic Nanoarchitechtures, particularly flexible plasmonic superlattices/assemblies for ultrasensitive biosensing, E-skin-based flexoptics and wearable elastronics.
